This place is so great! We went here for dinner last night and had drinks before at the bar in the lobby, which has some of the most unique craft cocktails! I had the short rib cannelloni, which was absolutely to die for! Decent wine list. My friend, however, told our server that she was allergic to tomatoes and they brought her dish out with a TON of tomatoes. They took it back and the dish they brought her back looked great, but we aren’t sure if they just took the tomatoes out instead of making a new dish because once we left, she got really sick and had to go home because she was vomiting. If that wouldn’t have happened, I think I would say this would have been a 4 star review. We felt a little unwelcome since the rest of the people here were a bit older. It may have been that they were super busy but we expressed our concern to one of the hosts and he kind of cut me off when I was describing why I felt we weren’t getting the same service as the tables around us. He said a manager would come but she never did. It felt like our server wrote us off as bad tippers the second she came over, since we weren’t 50 years old 🤷🏼‍♀️ Will definitely be back, though!

Happy Hour appetizers and drinks are phenomenal. I recommend the Hemmingway cocktail. So good and great service. The atmosphere is low lighting and on a week night the noise level is perfect for a group to hear each other well.

Basically come here for the train experience. Kids love it. Unfortunately they can do way better on the food. Fries are the frozen ones and the chili is borderline unmixed dog food.

Man you want some killer smoked meats….. This is where you go. Everything is top quality and cooked to perfection. Very traditional… From the great servers to all the way Down to serving true horseradish sauce for the killer fresh fried mushrooms. The brisket or any of the meats melt in your mouth. I love a good baked potato….. They have them! You have to end the meal with the triple chocolate brownie…. You guys its completely off the chain.. And Off the reservation. If you want to share and impress your out of town guests …. You take them to any one of the Jack Stacks. It is K. C. BBQ. Go and get you some!

Fantastic experience! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the food was top notch. Rachel took care of me and made sure I got some of the best stuff on the menu. I’ll definitely be back!

Loved this restaurant. If you are in Kansas city, I would highly recommend this place. It is a cool place for date night. It is not very expensive. Check out their happy hour times and all you can eat Wednesday special.
